In Madesimo, there are hotels with swimming pools and the opportunity to rejuvenate in the spa at the brand new Madesimo Wellness Centre, but those who want to dedicate themselves to swimming, a beneficial sport for the body, or spend a day in the water with the family can make use of the swimming pool in Chiavenna, just over half an hour’s drive from Madesimo.
The swimming pool in Chiavenna is located within the Valchiavenna Sports Centre, close to the centre and the Pratogiano crotti area, and offers two indoor pools: one 25-meter pool with four lanes for free swimming and a smaller children’s pool. The pool is open all year round, and swimming and aqua gym classes are organized.
