Cross-Country Skiing in Madesimo

Skiing in Madesimo isn’t just about downhill skiing or snowboarding stunts: those who enjoy cross-country skiing have an excellent choice of trails in the immediate vicinity of the village, totalling about 5 km of tracks reserved for narrow skis.

There are two cross-country ski tracks in Madesimo, both with free and open access:

• Cross-country skiing in Motta: a certified loop track 3 km from Madesimo, accessible by the Sky Express funicular from Campodolcino or by shuttle from Madesimo. Find out more;
• Cross-country skiing in Campodolcino: a loop in front of the Sky Express funicular departure point in Campodolcino.

Beginners who wish to take cross-country skiing lessons in Madesimo can turn to the Alpe Motta Ski School.
